Welcome to the Wales YFC website. Wales YFC is a voluntary youth organisation that represents 6,000 young people in rural Wales. Although the name of the organisation refers to ‘Young Farmers', our members represent young people from all walks of life - so you don't need to be a farmer to be a member - in fact if your between 10 and 26 years old and want to live a little and learn a lot, then Wales YFC is most definitely for you! more...

Future Support for Young Entrants in to farming
Wales YFC will be submitting a response to the consultation on Young Entrants. This is an important consultation which will result in more support for young entrants in the agricultural industry. To voice your views and opinions on this matter or to get involved in the response please contact your county office or Susie Hobby at the Wales YFC office. Wales YFC is proud to be a part of
‘Mudiadau Dathlu'r Gymraeg - Celebrating Our Language', an umbrella group
celebrating the success of the Welsh Language, whilst also calling for a series
of new measures to ensure its future.
Commemorative Commission
The Wales Federation of Young Farmers Clubs is
70 years old, and to celebrate this special occasion two artists, Aneurin Jones
and his son Meirion were commissioned to do a joint piece. Prints of the
painting are now for sale, click here for order forms and prices.
Bilingualism
The Welsh Promotion Officer is responsible for ensuing that the Welsh Language and bilingualism is developed within the organisation centrally and within the counties. Click here for more information.

The charities of the year are Ty Hafan near Cardiff and Ty
