Enterprise Scheme Competition

The Scheme, run by Wales YFC with support from NatWest Cymru, is open to any Wales YFC past or present member up to the age of 31. The idea of the scheme is to offer young people the opportunity to test drive a business idea and to gain a taste of the business world.

To enter all you have to do is contact Jenni Evans at the Wales YFC Centre (01982 553 502 jenni.evans@yfc-wales.org.uk) to discuss your idea or business proposal. She will then be able to offer you support and contacts to help create a business plan and provide other business advice.

Applicants are then invited to meet with a panel of experts in order to talk through their idea with the judges, who are also able to offer advice on how to develop their idea further. Following this, applicants will receive £100 to further the business idea.

The top the entrants will win further substantial grants to assist the development of their businesses as well as assistance to publicise and further market their businesses through Wales YFC and other supporting bodies.
